The short version
This website sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics only if you allow analytics. We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels or profiling.
What we store if you make a choice
If you answer the cookie question at the bottom of the page, your answer is saved in your browser's local storage under the name recto.consent.v1. Two technical notes, because they matter:
- It is not a cookie. It is never sent to our server; it stays in your browser so we know not to ask again.
- It holds only your answer and the date you gave it. It contains nothing that identifies you.
It expires after 180 days, and we ask again after that. You can clear it at any time through your browser's site data settings, or change your answer through cookie settings.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and website performance without setting cookies. It loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Declining is as easy as accepting. You can withdraw your choice through cookie settings; the page will reload to stop the analytics script. Cloudflare does not log URL query strings in Web Analytics. Reports are available for the previous six months. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for more information.
Fonts and other third parties
The typefaces on this site are served from our own domain, not from a font network, so loading a page sends nothing to anyone else.
Two services run on their own websites, not on ours:
- Tally, where the intake form lives. When you open a form, Tally's own cookie and privacy terms apply.
- Stripe, which handles payment, including cookies it needs for fraud prevention.
Clicking a link to them sends nothing about you from us. Their policies apply from the moment their page opens.
Your browser is in charge
Every major browser lets you block or delete site data, and doing so will not stop this site working, because it does not depend on any of it.
